    Exhibitors and delegates gathered for the 25th anniversary of the Asia-Pacific Incentive and Meetings Expo (AIME) between 21-22 February 2017. After a jam-packed few days of events, networking and business, here's a few highlights from this year's event.

    AIME was home to a range of stands, with exhibitors present from countries including Australia, Korea, Thailand, Japan, America, India and Turkey.

  • Celebrations

    The exhibition floor was alive with activities marking the 25th anniversary of AIME. From The Hub photo booth to the 25th joy board, visitors and exhibitors celebrated the event in style!

  • Konduko

    Attendees embraced a brand new technology. Konduko powered by Info Salons Group, made AIME the first MICE smart event in the Asia Pacific region, generating over 9,200 connections between exhibitors and trade visitors alone.

  • Knowledge Sessions

    This year also played host to a spectrum of knowledge sessions, maximizing opportunities for education.

    Our speakers from Saxton Speakers Bureau, saw almost all programs at full-capacity, with sessions hosted by notable names including Chris Riddell, Marita Cheng, Dr Catherine Ball and Lucy Adams.

    Inspiring programs also took place providing learning opportunities on key MICE industry subjects and destinations from around the show floor.

  • Events

    The AIME Welcome Event yet again was another highlight in the MICE industry events calendar.

    Showcasing 'Creative Victoria', the evening, fully hosted by Melbourne Convention Bureau at Carousel by food&desire, was entertained by a show-stopping line up of acts including performing artist Josh Piterman and beat boxer Terry the Beat Boxer.

    One of the key elements of AIME has always been to provide a stage to meet likeminded professionals so that meaningful connections can be developed.

  • Hosted Buyer Program

    The AIME Hosted Buyer program offered a variety of incredible networking events and an inspirational Knowledge program to keep industry professionals up to date with market trends and to address daily challenges.

    Highlights this year included exclusive access to Flemington Racecourse and an insight to The Future of the Business Meetings Industry presented by lead researcher, Mark McCrindle.
