At AIME, we appreciate the importance of recognising individuals and companies who have made a difference to the industry. The AIME 2010 Awards had six categories and we would like to extend our congratulations to the winners.
The AIME Outstanding Contribution Asia-Pacific was awarded to Barrie Markey, Managing Director, ICMS and the AIME Outstanding Contribution International was awarded to Deborah Sexton, President and CEO, Professional Convention Management Association.
Green was the colour of the day and AIME would like to recognize "Decorative Events and Exhibitions" for going that extra mile to make their stand ‘Environmentally friendly’ and congratulate them on winning the Best Environmental Stand award.
The AIME Best Stand Awards were awarded to the following
Best Stand under 30m² - Decorative Events and Exhibitions
Best Stand over 30m² - Perth Convention Bureau
Best New Exhibitor Stand - Seoul Tourism Organization
These AIME Awards were judged onsite, and determined by the following criteria:
• General presentation of the stand including clear presentation of the product being sold
• Accessibility
• Originality
• Staff attitude and dress
• Use of light and colour and creative input
