Melbourne will have Australia's largest combined convention and exhibition facility when the new Melbourne Convention Centre opens for business in 2010.
The Crown Conference Centre is a purpose built and fully flexible conference and convention facility located in Crown Promenade Hotel. Currently able to host conferences for up to 660 guests with a main plenary, exhibition and 10 breakout rooms, a two story extension is underway that will increase capacity to 800 in a new plenary room, bring the total number of breakouts to 19 and add a dedicated exhibition hall on the ground floor.
