Jan Shaw has 20 years’ experience working in marketing and meeting management throughout Australia and overseas. Jan joined Intermedia (Event Planners’ founding company) in 1992 as a Director of Marketing before moving into a role as an Event Manager in 1997. Now, after 17 years with the company, Jan works as an Executive Consultant drafting policies and procedures and providing advice and guidance to our event management teams.
Jan’s outstanding operations abilities have been recognised four times by the Meetings and Events Australia, with Jan’s team receiving the 1997 and 2001 National Meetings & Events Industry Award for Excellence for Meeting of the Year. Jan also received the National Meetings and Events Australia Industry award as Event Manager of the Year in 2005 and 2008.
