Dr Jenine Beekhuyzen


Dr Jenine Beekhuyzen created waves in the STEM (Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) industry by spearheading the ‘Tech Girls are Superheros’ movement, encouraging more women (particularly younger women) to pursue careers in the STEM field. An avid supporter of diversity and youth entrepreneurship, Jenine is a futurist who questions existing structures which won’t serve tomorrow’s digital landscape and encourages the next generation of technology leaders to prepare for an unknown future by changing our approach to innovation. She provides insight into the disruptive nature of technology, drawing from 15+ years of internationally published research, university teaching, experiences as CEO of her own technology consultancy.
