    We appreciate that planning your participation at large scale events can be both time consuming and complex, and as organisers we want to make things as clear and as straightforward as possible for you.

    Please see below our top tips to help guide you through this process:

    1. Help Hosted and Trade Buyers find you! Log onto the Exhibitor Portal and upload as much company information as possible, assign your geographical regions and select your product/service categories. This year, with the new mutual match opportunity, it is important that you complete your profile to ensure Hosted Buyers can find you in the Exhibitor Directory and select you as a preference - portal will be live shortly.

    2. If you are sharing your stand with other companies, recruit and register your Stand Sharers in the Exhibitor Portal ASAP so they can also receive the full benefits of exhibiting at the show and be seen by Hosted Buyers when they start making their exhibitor preferences in January.

    3. Spread the word....AIME works with leading meetings industry titles to gain year round coverage. By sending us your product/service news, your brand can be featured in these titles and gain exposure to the wider MICE community. Our PR agency Zadro Communications is ready to help you take advantage of the many promotional opportunities on offer - the more information we receive from you, the more we can include you in show releases and information we provide to journalists to let them know what's going on at the event.     4. Stand out! Whatever your budget and objective we can help you find the right promotional or sponsorship opportunity to help you generate new leads, gain exposure or increase awareness before, during and even after the show. Contact to start your promotion now!

    5. Take advantage of AIME official printed and digital publications to advertise your presence at the show.

    6. Be Social! Join AIME on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube to connect with our growing community of meetings and events professionals. Give a taste of what you’ll be doing and showcasing at the show…

    7. Book your travel and accomodation in Melbourne. We have a number of fantastic deals to help you plan your journey. Book accommodation

    8. Organise your stand: check the Operations Manual in the Exhibitor Portal for information on ordering furniture, internet, telephone connections, etc.

    9. Think of your stand as an extension of your brand by utilising graphics, video, colours, props and staff - you could be in with the chance of winning an award! The AIME stand awards highlight the best and most effective exhibitors and their stands.

    10. Organise an event during Networking Hour. This is the perfect time to catch Hosted Buyers outside of appointments. Make a lasting connection and get planning and promoting your networking event on your stand. Don’t forget to add your event to the Exhibitor Portal to be included on the AIME website stand events listing.

    11. View the Knowledge Program to discover a range of education sessions and events you would like to attend..

    12. Brief your staff. Make sure you have the correct team members available for the variety of Hosted Buyer appointments and any meetings with Trade Buyers. Take time to find out about who you are meeting at the show once you receive your diary of appointments in February and ensure your staff is prepared to do business!

    13. Feedback! Report the quality and relevance of the buyers you meet using the Appointment Rating Tool available in the Exhibitor Portal. Tell us what you thought with the post show surveys - your feedback on your exhibiting experience is invaluable to ensure we improve our services year after year to provide your organisation with the best business opportunities.
